I've just finished a unit of Slayers for the Dwarf army. I gather that these are tough little guys, but I couldn't buy into the 'orange' thing that GW have written into their unit background. To me these are nordic dwarves, closely aligned with Celtic tradition, so none of that namby pamby orange stuff for them: blue wode is the order of the day. I didn't do blue tattoos as I didn't want to overdo the whole blue thing, but I really fancied the 'blue' imagery: tough little celtic guys, plastering their hair with blue wode (hopefully this isn't the historic origin of the 60s+ blue rinse brigade though). I like the result.. and anyway...
I like blue.. did I say that?
